So this afternoon I somehow found myself in a store that sold flowers and if there’s one really girly thing that I absolutely love it’s flowers. And last Tuesday when it was Valentine’s Day I told myself that I was going to buy myself some roses because who says that single people can’t buy roses for themselves.

So I picked out a dozen white roses to buy and I carried them around the store while talking to my brother. And then it was that moment I realized I was drinking Starbucks, holding white roses, and wearing my long coat because it was snowing outside at the same time.

I probably looked like a hipster.

(Also my brother says that only desperate people buy themselves flowers. And to that I say screw you sir. Politely.)

Excuse me.

But people who find value in the simplicity and beauty of life buy themselves flowers.
